There were 12 boutiques featured by Aol Travel and this is what they said about the Aqua Bamboo & Spa.

The rate: From $99

courtyard view, moderate

one-bedroom suite

The ‘hood: The Aqua is just one block from Oahu’s famous

outer sanctuary - pool, jacuzzi, AquaSPA

Waikiki Beach, with its endless people watching, gentle waves (more friendly to swimmers than elsewhere on the island), and jumping nightlife.

The lowdown:
The Aqua Bamboo combines the convenience of being in jumping Waikiki with a get-away-from-it-all vibe (think aromatherapy candles, modern feng-shui-ed rooms, a   well-priced spa). The plush white beds are accented with cinnamon pillows and rattan tables and chairs nod to the areas Polynesian heritage. The hotel is a happening hang for hip Japanese tourists and young professionals making an urban escape.

When to go: Weather rests comfortably in the 70s and 80s year-round, but you’re most likely to score deals in September and May.

Best room: An extra $30 gives you an upgrade to a kitchenette room, which will help you save cash on Hawaii’s pricey dining options.
