Kauai Beach Resort ( announced the launch of their cultural activities calendar for the enjoyment of hotel guests and residents of all ages.

Kauai Beach Resort highlights its island heritage by offering activities which encourage participation and interaction.  Local artisans and kupuna share their knowledge and time so that Hawaii’s art, culture, music and dance can be learned and enjoyed by everyone.

Kauai Beach Resort ( recently announced their support of Kauai Visitors Bureau’s “Kauai Kamaaina Offer” by lowering their room rate for Hawai‘i and military residents. Tuesday     E Komo Mai Reception from 5 – 6 pm for in-house guests to meet and mingle with the resort staff while enjoying Hawaiian music and hula at twilight.

Thursday   Art & Wine Thursdays from 5:30 – 9 pm features local works of art by Kauai-based artists each month.  Wine tastings are paired with appetizers from 6 – 7 pm.  $20 per person includes four tastings.  (Launches July 15 and takes place every first Thursday starting August 5).

Friday        Pau Hana Fridays Oceanfest with live entertainment at the Pool Deck from 5:30 – 7 pm.

Friday        Clam Bake at Naupaka Terrace Restaurant from 6 – 9 pm.  $29.95 per adult, $15 for children 5 – 12 years.

Saturday    Saturday Pool Paina takes place poolside at Driftwood Bar & Grille featuring a casual barbecue menu from noon – 4 pm and live entertainment from 1 – 3 pm.

Saturday    Sirloin & Seafood Buffet from 6 – 9 pm featuring an ‘all you can eat’ salad bar, seafood bar, hot entrées, carving station and dessert station.  $39 per adult, $21 for children 5 – 12 years.

Nightly      Entertainment in Shutter’s Lounge from 7 – 10 pm Sunday – Thursday and from 7 – 11 pm Friday and Saturday.  Enjoy live music, specialty drinks and à la carte menu.
